BURJ DUBAI

  Burj Dubai is the tallest man-made structure ever built on earth. The foundation for the construction of this sky scrapper was led on September 21, 2004. According to the plans, it was to be opened for public in the year 2009. Due to some reasons it was not opened as planned and not the date of launching is being released and it is on Jan 4, 2010. Now itself, it has raised many eye brows and it is in number one position among the other competitors. It is almost 818.0m in height. It consists of 162 floors totally comprising of 2 basement floors and 160 habitable floors. The top floor is around 636.0m. The floor area is 517,240sqm. The building is used by mixed users which may include Communication, Hotel, Obsevation, Office, Residential, Retail, and many more. This skyscrapper topped out the ranking charts on 17th Jan, 2009. It is being heared that an observation deck is located on 124th floor. If the building is so high, obviously elevators should be highly powerful. This tower is known to have the fastest elevator in the world with a speed of 700m/min (i.e) almost it would travel 42.3 km/hr. The architectural companies of this tower are Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP and developer is EMAAR properties. So post New Year, it would be a treat to watch this sky scrapper.

CHRISTMAS

Christmas is one of the festival which is being celebrated World wide. Eventhough it is sacredly meant for Christians, it is almost enjoyed by the other religions too. The eve of Christmas run around the week starting from 25th of december to the 1st of the New Year. Everywhere around the streets, we could get a glimpse of colourful, attractive, decorative stars which are hung from hook in the road side shops. Also we can catch a scenaric nature of those green trees which are being designed in such a way that they look so natural instead of making us to think of artificiality. 

The bells hanging in those trees would make a sound which soothes our mind and gives us a gentle blow of pleasant music and the balls which are so colourful around the trees would give us a feeling of being beside the rainbow. When we get these trees and stars around us in our home, we feel the pleasures of heaven at our residence. In this way of Heavenly mind, good spirit, desire, attitude, superb atmosphere, if we start a New Year then it would be a great year ahead comprising of all those best qualities with this powerful surrounding. So, my desire is that everyone should enjoy a Merry Christmas and have a Prosperous New Year following it.
